Facial Rejuvenation

Most people are familiar with the health benefits of acupuncture and Chinese herbs.  But many people don’t know that acupuncture can help promote a more youthful appearance.  

Virginia Doran, a Licensed Acupuncturist in New York City with over 20 years experience, developed the Facial Rejuvenation protocol. This truly remarkable treatment program smoothes and tones the skin and deeper tissues of the face and neck. Wrinkles and lines fade, and the skin of the neck and face is tightened and toned. Results are noticeable after the first treatment. And the results begin to ‘hold’ after the seventh or eighth treatment. A full course of treatment consists of between ten and fifteen treatments. Then, with periodic ‘tune-ups’ the results last for up to five years! 

These treatments take approximately 1 ½-2 hours each. They are quite relaxing and for the most part, painless. Extremely tiny acupuncture needles are inserted into various areas of the face and body. Trouble spots, such as ‘laugh lines’ are given special attention. Topical herbal preparations are sometimes also used. Often an herbal supplement is suggested to help tonify and rejuvenate the skin and muscles.
