Susan Wellman holds a Bachelor's degree in psychology from Seattle University, and a Master's degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from the Northwest Institute of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. She has been a licensed massage therapist since 1986. She received her initial massage education and training from the Heide Brenneke School of Massage therapy, and later received advanced training from Seattle Massage School, now known as Ashmead College. She has completed levels one and two of Cranial Sacral training from the Milne Institute in Santa Barbara, and has extensive continuing education in a variety of massage techniques and styles.

At the Northwest Institute of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, Susan completed a course of study in Traditional Chinese medicine that included not only acupuncture but also Chinese herbal medicine. 

Susan is board certified in both acupuncture and Chinese herbology and has an extensive herbal dispensary in her clinic.

Susan is trained in Acutonics™, a subtle healing system using sound harmonics and intervals from bells, tuning forks and Tibetan bowls to produce therapeutic effects.
